Empowering Families and Schools for Student Success
At The Collaborative for Family Education (TCFFE), we believe that every child deserves access to an educational environment that supports their unique learning needs. Navigating the complexities of special education can be challenging for families and schools alike. That’s why TCFFE offers specialized advocacy and consulting services to bridge the gap, ensuring that students receive the individualized support they need to thrive academically and socially.
Navigating the world of IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) and 504 Plans can be overwhelming. Each state has its own laws and procedures, making it difficult for families and schools to fully understand and implement the best educational strategies. In Colorado and Texas, the need for special education support is significant, with many families and educators seeking guidance to make informed decisions. We are currently licensed as Special Education teachers in these two states, but can help in other states as well - or find someone who can!
Having a third-party perspective helps to objectively assess a student's needs, ensuring that educational goals are appropriate and services are provided as needed. Our role is not to take sides but to support the child in the best way possible. By working collaboratively with families and schools, we foster a team approach that enhances student outcomes.
Families: Parents seeking to understand and navigate their child's IEP or 504 Plan, ensuring that their child receives the appropriate services and accommodations.
Schools: Educators and administrators looking for expert guidance on developing effective strategies, writing measurable goals, and creating inclusive learning environments.
Students: Ultimately, our services are about supporting students with special needs to achieve their full potential in an educational setting that meets their unique learning requirements.
